The Storm welcome back Origin duo Harry Grant and Xavier Coates against the Cowboys on Friday night, with two other Queensland stars backing up last round.

Cameron Munster and Trent Loeiro took the field only days after the series opener, while Grant and Coates were given a breather by coach Craig Bellamy.

The Storm hooker has been nursing a hamstring injury, but will be hoping to be back to 100 per cent fitness as he stakes his claims to once again be named for the Maroons.

Meanwhile, for the Cowboys Karl Lawton has been included on the bench for his third game at the North Queensland club, coming off the bench in Round 1 and 2.

Both teams are coming off wins over the Titans and Tigers respectively, while North Queensland’s victory went down to the wire.

After leading 18-6 at halftime, and scoring three more tries early in the second half, Todd Payten’s outfit only clung on in the closing stages.

They conceded four tries within 13 minutes and came desperately close to giving away two crucial competition points.
